Sandy

August 24 2012 - January 12 2026

Sandy was more than just a dog.

She was family.

She was our emotional support. She was always there to lend a paw when we felt sad, or to cuddle when we needed a bit of love after a rough day. She made us laugh, smile, and also got in the way whenever food was involved. She loved chicken, popcorn, bacon, and watermelon for her favourite human snacks. She used to love going on very long walks, and loved playing with other dogs even when they showed no interest. But Sandy being Sandy, she would still try. She brought laughter and light to our whole family during the holidays, and safe to say that grandma was her favourite visitor because she always brought a bag full of treats.

And although there will always be a hole in our hearts, and an emptiness in the house, loving her was worth every second.

We will always love you Sandy, fly high over the rainbow bridge until we can meet again someday.
