With heavy hearts and endless gratitude, we said goodbye to our beloved dog, our first baby, Indie (Ind, Roo, Shoo) who brought 14 years of love, laughter, and companionship into our lives.

She was so much more than a pet — she was family from the very beginning. She loved nothing more than being at the lake, chasing her ball, taking long naps, and going for walks with those she loved most. Her favorite days were the ones when the whole family was home, a day on the dock, or when she could chase a puck around the hockey rink with pure joy.

She had a refined palate — fish, deer steak, turkey dinners, sweet potatoes, her morning banana and movie night popcorn were her absolute favourites.

Fiercely loyal, she took her role as protector of our home seriously — no squirrel, dog, or delivery person went unnoticed. And true to her bulldog nature, she was stubborn, full of attitude, and never afraid to let us know exactly how she felt.

She lived a long, full, and happy life, and we feel so lucky to have been a part of it. She will be deeply missed by Jim, Alexandra, Easton, Arbor, Knox and Marlowe, and by everyone who ever had the chance to love her.

Thank you for everything, sweet girl. You were the heart of our home, and your love will stay with us forever.
