Dexter

t was the hardest thing I've ever had to do...say goodbye to my boy Dexter Morgan.

He was only our cat for 6 years, but he gave us so much love and joy.

He had a beautiful coat and the nicest yellow green eyes that always looked at me with love.

He would jump on my lap when I was working or watching TV for a cuddle. I swear he knew sometimes I was stressed out and would seek my attention just to break my serious thoughts.

I'll miss his distinctive meow that was like "mehh"!

He always got me up early to feed him, even on weekends.

He loved his cat siblings and was the best big brother to Ronald.

Guy loved chicken, so much that I would open a raw package and he would reach up and scream for some. I would only oblige him some when it was cooked.

He loved cheese too. And grass.

He never scratched our furniture, only his posts and cardboard scratchers.

I'll remember when I put up my Xmas tree this year.. he loved the lights and decorations.

He loved people, and being a part of the party or gathering.

He passed peacefully at home, Matt and I by his side. Thank you Dr Liz, who made the process easier for us in a difficult emotional state, and he was able to pass with dignity and peacefully.

Rest easy my sweetheart. Goodnight sweet prince...

He was the goodest boy.
