Caramel

Adopted July 10, 2015 – June 18, 2026

You are our sunshine, we love you forever and always, and until we meet again.

Caramel’s early beginnings were far from ideal. She had a tough start in life as her original owners kept her outdoors and threw her over a fence. Thankfully, friendly neighbours brought her to Jenn’s Furry Friends Rescue.

We first met Caramel through a visit with her foster parents who have since started their own small animal rescue, Popcorns & Binkies Rescue Haven. Caramel was known for being quite elusive around humans. That said, from the very first moment our eyes met, she hopped over to us and placed her two front paws directly on one of our thighs. It was at that moment that we knew she had chosen us to be her family.

Throughout our years together, Caramel always provided us with unconditional love and affection. This included morning binkies and zoomies, cuddles and kisses whenever we were having a hard day, and posing adorably for solo and family photos.

Caramel, losing you has been one of the most painful and difficult experiences of our lives. Even though it hurts and we miss you every single day, we also know that you are in a much better place now. You are free to binky, hop around the infinite fields of berries, take naps anywhere you want, follow the sunshine, and to ultimately be your happy and loving self. You will always be our one and only Caramel.
